Operate From Anywhere
With PowerView®, your motorized blinds can be opened and closed from anywhere. Using the PowerView® Hub, the system connects to your home’s WiFi network. The hub is the central point of control and stores all the settings for your smart blinds. For operation, you can choose from four options.
The Pebble Surface
PowerView® Motorization
The Pebble Surface is a small wall-mounted unit that can operate your automatic blinds with the touch of a button. It can control up to six different window treatments, allowing you complete control in the room where it’s mounted. Easily open, close, raise, and lower your smart blinds with the intuitive arrows.
The Pebble® Remote
PowerView® Motorization
The Pebble® Remote fits beautifully in the palm of your hand. Like the Pebble Surface, it can operate up to six different window treatments with easy-to-understand arrow controls. This remote comes in a range of stylish colors that make it easy to spot in any room.
The PowerView® App
PowerView® Motorization
The PowerView® App is the ultimate control tool. Compatible with Apple® and Android™ operating systems, this app allows you to control all your electric blinds. You can also set up customized Scenes that move every smart blind in your home to specific positions. The PowerView® App also allows you to schedule scenes throughout the day or ask them to move with the sunrise or sunset based on your location.
The Scene Controller
PowerView® Motorization
The Scene Controller is a small wall-mounted unit that pairs with the PowerView® App. With this controller, you can trigger scenes you’ve already created. This option is perfect when you need to operate your automatic blinds, but the controlled device is out of the home.
The Perfect Power Option
PowerView® Automation is run by ultra-quiet motors that are never disruptive. You have several different options when it comes to powering the motors on your electric blinds. This power source can be mounted directly in the headrail of your window treatment or satellite mounted on a sill or wall outside the window treatment. The satellite mounting is ideal for smart blinds mounted in a high window where the headrail would be challenging to reach.
Battery Wands
Battery Wands are the most common option for your motorized blinds. You can choose from a rechargeable wand or an alkaline or C-Size battery wand. These wands are mounted so that you can easily remove the batteries or recharge the wands without having to remove your window treatment. The battery life on each option is roughly one year of regular operation.
DC Power
DC Power is the easier and more permanent solution to powering your motorized blinds. An 18V DC power supply can be plugged into any standard outlet and is the standard for traversing PowerView® Systems. If you are installing smart blinds in your entire home, then the 16-Shade DC Power Supply is the optimal choice. This option has no exposed wires or cables, and there are no batters to change, ever.
